Everything we do is built around one specialty: the dental needs of infants, children, and teens.
Every treatment plan at Just Kids starts the same way: with the evidence, and with the individual child. We practice evidence-based dentistry to the highest standard of care, and we build each child's plan specifically for them — which may mean minimally invasive techniques, definitive and comprehensive treatment, or restorative care with or without sedation, in whatever combination serves that child best. The tools are many; the lens is always individual.
Our treatment rooms are built for children — bright, modern equipment in calm ocean-blue rooms with sea creatures on the walls, because a room that feels friendly does half the work of a gentle visit.
Regular checkups and gentle professional cleanings, paced to each child's age and comfort level, with digital records of growth and development over time.
Proven, evidence-based prevention: topical fluoride to strengthen enamel and dental sealants to protect the deep grooves of molars where most childhood cavities start.
Tooth-colored fillings and pediatric crowns when decay does occur, using materials and techniques appropriate for primary and young permanent teeth.
Practical guidance on thumb and finger sucking, pacifiers, and other habits that can affect how teeth and jaws develop.
We track eruption, spacing, and bite development at every visit, and coordinate referrals to orthodontists and other specialists when the timing is right.
Knocked-out tooth, toothache, chipped tooth after a fall — call us at (802) 649-5210 and we'll guide you on what to do right away.
Dr. Rayes and Dr. Davis provide sedation services right here in our office, working alongside anesthesia staff in fully designed sedation and recovery suites — so children who need extra help staying calm and comfortable can be treated safely, in a familiar place.
Dr. Rayes is fully credentialed at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and provides hospital dentistry under general anesthesia. For very young children, extensive treatment needs, or children for whom a hospital setting is the safest option, care is available there.
We have deep experience caring for children with special healthcare needs and complex medical histories — with the training, patience, and hospital access to care for every child safely.
